Indications & Usage: - Upper and lower respiratory tract infection:

Generic Name: Zinc Sulphate Monohydrate USP

Presentation: Each 5 ml of Pep-2 syrup contains Zinc Sulphate
Monohydrate USP equivalent to 10 mg elemental Zinc.

Indications & Usage: Zinc is essential for the correction of Zinc deficiency problems like growth retardation, decreased taste and smell, alopecia, dermatitis, diarrhoea, immunological dysfunction, faijure to thrive, gonadal atrophy, impaired spermatogenesis and congenital maiformation.

Dosage & Administration:
The recommended dose for Children is 2 to 2.5 mg/ Kg/ day.
Child under 10 kg: 20mg Zinc 1 or 2 times daily
Child with 10 to 30 kg : 20 mg Zinc 1 or 3 times daily
Adult & Child over 30 kg: 40mg Zinc 1 or 3 times daily
Pep-2 syrup:
Child under 10 kg: 1 to 2 teaspoonful daily in divided doses
Child over 10 kg: 2 teaspoonful 1 to 3 times daily

Overdosage: - Zinc Sulphate is corrosive in overdose. Symptoms are
corrosion and inflammation of the mucous membrance of the mouth and
stomach.
